“Lived In” Hair How-TO

If you have an Instagram or Pinterest you’ve probably noticed that “lived in” hair is HUGE this year. It always looks put together and the best part of all is you don’t have to curl your whole head to achieve the look. There’s always more than one way to achieve any look so here’s how I do it.

I always start off by applying a heat protectant while my 1″ Hot Tools curling iron warms up. I have found this size works best for my hair but you can choose whatever size barrel that suits your hair!

Next you want to take 1/4″ sections of hair and start curling away from your face. To achieve the wavy look you want to leave your ends out of the curling iron. I only curl the top layer of my hair since it is on the shorter side but you can also do this for longer hair.  If you want to curl the underneath you can always take larger sections to cut down on time.

Once I’m done curling I take my fingers and rake it through my curls. I don’t like the feeling of product in my hair but you can always spray some texturizing spray to add a little bit of hold to your curls!

“Lived In” hair really is that easy to achieve and now you can be one of those girls with the beautiful hair on social media. Have a great week, y’all!
